Sundance Film Festival 2015 Announces Midnight, Spotlight, New Frontier Lineups

'Knock Knock', a Keanu Reeves-starring horror directed by Eli Roth, and Kevin Bacon-starring 'Cop Car' are among those in the City Park at Midnight lineup.

AceShowbiz - Sundance Film Festival 2015 released titles which are featured in the Park City at Midnight, Spotlight and New Frontier Films sections on Thursday, December 4. Some of the movies featured in the Midnight section are Keanu Reeves' "Knock Knock" and "Cop Car" starring Kevin Bacon.

The "John Wick" star plays a married man who is visited by two beautiful women in the horror movie directed by Eli Roth. "Cop Car", meanwhile, centers on two boys who steal an abandoned cop car.

"This year's Park City at Midnight selections have much to offer genre enthusiasts. With everything from futuristic fantasies to paranormal nightmares, it's an all-out trip to the cinematic edge," Trevor Groth, director of programming for the Sundance Film Festival, said of the lineup.

Among movies in Spotlight section is " '71" starring "Unbroken" actor Jack O'Connell. It tells the story of a young British soldier who accidentally got separated from his unit following a riot in Belfast in 1971. Unable to tell friends from foes, he has to survive the night until he finds a way to safety.

Sundance announced the World Competition titles and NEXT lineup on Wednesday. They will release the lineup for Premieres and Documentary Premieres on Monday.
