AceShowbiz - As previously reported, Lana Del Rey has recorded two songs for the soundtrack of Tim Burton's upcoming movie "Big Eyes". One of the tracks has now been previewed in a new promo premiered on Yahoo! Movies.

In the teaser, a one-minute snippet of the song, also titled "Big Eyes", is played over some scenes of the film. "Is it me, was I wrong to have trusted you?/ Did I see what I wanted, what wasn't true?/ Was I wrong to go on like a little fool?/ It's amazing what women in love will do," Del Rey sings on the dark slow-tempo ballad. "With your big eyes/ And your big lies."

Del Rey's "Big Eyes" will appear midway through the movie, which follows the story of American artist Margaret Keane (Amy Adams) whose iconic '50s and '60s paintings of big-eyed children were falsely credited to her then-husband Walter.

"The whole thing is about a woman who can't find her voice. Lana's song expresses what Margaret is feeling so perfectly, it's like a soliloquy of her inner thoughts," the film's producer and co-writer Larry Karaszewski recently explained Del Rey's involvement.

Also starring Christoph Waltz, Krysten Ritter and Jason Schwartzman, the "Big Eyes" movie opens in U.S. theaters on December 25.
