Some people in the studio shed tears while the country superstar performs the beautiful ballad from his upcoming album 'Man Against Machine'.

AceShowbiz - Garth Brooks made a visit to "Good Morning America" on Friday morning, November 7. On the show, the country superstar promoted his upcoming album "Man Against Machine" by debuting a new song simply titled "Mom".

Only accompanied by an acoustic guitar, Brooks crooned the pretty touching ballad penned by Don Sampson and Wynn Varble while several people in the studio including host Robin Roberts (II) got emotional and even shed tears.

"It should've been written 50 years ago," he told Roberts prior to the performance. "It's a conversation between God and this unborn child, [who is] about ready to go down to earth. And when God describes what a mom is... whew, it kills me. It's a beautiful song; I wish I'd written it. 'The Dance' is my favorite Garth Brooks song ever, but if there was ever a song that could ever rival it - just because of the context of it... You know I'm a mama's boy."

"Man Against Machine" marks Brooks' first album of new material in 13 years. It is set for release on November 11. In support of the new full-length, the musician ended his lengthy break from touring and started hitting the road again earlier this year.
