Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald Getting Married, Not Kissing at Their Wedding

There's no kissing between the '19 Kids and Counting' star and her new husband during the nuptials as the newlyweds want to experience their first kiss in private.

AceShowbiz - Jessa Duggar and fiance Ben Seewald have tied the knot, but they're still waiting for their first kiss. Instead of going the traditional way by sealing the nuptials with a kiss, the pair saved the special moment for later in a more private setting.

Pastor Mike Schadt who officiated the wedding revealed the couple's decision to the 1,000 guests. He later asked the bride's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar to kiss each other. "So, now you've seen a Duggar kiss," he jokingly said to the crowd.

The pair married at the First Baptist Church in Bentonville, Arkansas. Serving as the maid of honor was her younger sister Jinger, and the bridesmaids were Jessica Seewald, Danielle Seewald, Michelle Seewald, Peyton Weiss, Anna Hackel, and Amara Query.

The groom's best man, meanwhile, was his best friend Dylan McMahan. His groomsmen included his sibling Russ Seewald and Jessa's brothers Josiah and Joseph. The flower girls included Jordyn-Grace Duggar and Faith Seewald.

"19 Kids and Counting" star Jessa, 21, and Ben, 19, wrote their own wedding vows and poured two vases of sand into one to symbolize their union. They left the ceremony in a horse-drawn carriage and the crowd blew bubbles in the air to cheer on the newlyweds.

The couple got engaged in August after less than a year of courtship under strict dating rules by the Duggar family. Their wedding came just a few months after Jessa's sister Jill Duggar married Derick Dillard. Jill and Derick waited until their engagement to hold hands and saved their first kiss for their wedding. They are now expecting their first child.
