According to a new report, Melissa Rivers inherits her late mother's Upper East Side condo which is worth $35 million in addition to a sizeable sum of money.

AceShowbiz - Melissa Rivers has inherited her mother Joan Rivers' apartment and money following her death last month. According to Us Weekly, the comedian's daughter receives as much as $75 million in cash and her Upper East Side condo which is worth $35 million.

"[The inheritance is] no consolation losing her mother so soon," a source said. Joan's grandson, 13-year-old Cooper, reportedly will also receive some inheritance.

The "Fashion Police" star passed away at the age of 81 on September 4, a week after undergoing a throat procedure at a Manhattan clinic. Her autopsy results released last week revealed that the comedian died from low blood oxygen to the brain during a surgery that led to brain damage.

"The manner of death is therapeutic complication. The classification of a death as a therapeutic complication means that the death resulted from a predictable complication of medical therapy," New York City Medical Examiner's Office said. "In response to NYC's Medical examiner's report, we continue to be saddened by our tragic loss," Melissa said back then.
