Together with Matthew Morrison and Katie Holmes, they will voice characters in the U.S. version of Juan Jose Campanella's Argentinean animation.

AceShowbiz - Weinstein Co.'s animated comedy "Underdogs" has added two young stars to give voice to the characters. Ariana Grande and Nicholas Hoult are part of the lead voices in the English-language version of the Argentine family comedy.

Matthew Morrison will voice the central character, a foosball player who must defend his town and the girl he loves, Laura (Grande), from the nefarious soccer player Ace (Hoult). Everything changes when Ace becomes the world's best soccer player and returns years later to turn their village into a new sports stadium. He starts to destroy everything and kidnaps Laura in the process.

Just when it looks like all hope is lost, the toy figures from Jake's foosball table come to life. He and the players embark on a wild adventure to save Laura and reclaim their village. With the help of his team, his town and a little bit of magic, Jake will try to save the day.

Katie Holmes, Eugenio Derbez, John Leguizamo, Chazz Palminteri, Taran Killam and Bobby Moynihan also join the film. "This talented cast takes our script and enhances it, with brilliant improvisation and wonderful chemistry. I'm so proud of these super-talented actors and comedians," TWC co-chairman Harvey Weinstein said in a statement.

Directed by Argentinean filmmaker Juan Jose Campanella, the project has been reworked for U.S. audience by scribes Gaston Gorali and Eduardo Sacheri. The film has just been pushed from its previous January 15, 2015 date to April 10, 2015 to give room for the studio's other animation "Paddington".
