A snippet of the song, which Swift says is one of her favorite songs from her upcoming '1989' album, was played on 'Good Morning America' on Monday morning.

AceShowbiz - Taylor Swift shared a preview of "Out of the Woods" prior to its official Tuesday, October 14 release. A 30-second snippet of the new song from her upcoming album, "1989", was played on "Good Morning America" on Monday morning.

"Out of the Woods", which Swift has said is not her new single, was co-penned by Fun.'s Jack Antonoff. The song is allegedly about her relationship with ex-boyfriend Harry Styles.

Also on Monday, Swift posted a video of her talking about what inspired her to write the track. Calling it one of her favorite songs on the album, she said, "This song is about the fragility and the kind of breakable nature of relationships. This was a relationship where was kind of living day-to-day wondering where it was going, if it was going to go anywhere, if it was going to end the next day. It was a relationship where you never feel like you're standing on solid ground."

She explained that such feelings can "bring on excitement" but also cause "extreme anxiety and, kind of, a frantic feeling of wondering, endless questions, and this song sounds exactly like that frantic feeling of anxiety and questioning."

She added that "Woods" also "stresses that even if a relationship is breakable and fragile and full of anxiety, it doesn't mean that it isn't worthwhile, exciting, beautiful and all the things that we look for."

UPDATE (Oct. 14, 2014 01:22 GMT): The full version of Taylor Swift's "Out of the Woods" hit iTunes on Tuesday, October 14. Swift also posted the lyrics on her Tumblr page. The song features 80's vibes and repetitive chorus.
