The Coldplay frontman joins the Nashville rock band to perform 'Talihina Sky', the rarely performed song from KoL's 'Youth and Young Manhood' album, before tackling 'Notion'.

AceShowbiz - Chris Martin made a surprise appearance onstage with Kings of Leon during the band's recent concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The Coldplay frontman got behind the piano and helped the group with the live performance of "Talihina Sky".

Kings of Leon rarely performs the song which appears on their 2003 debut set "Youth & Young Manhood". After finishing the track, Martin played another song titled "Notion" from the band's 2008 album "Only by the Night".

"I hope you enjoyed that. That cost us a lot of money," KoL's frontman Caleb Followill joked as Martin left the stage.

This is not Martin's first time to have joined the Nashville rockers onstage during a live concert. Back in March, the British musician performed "Fans" with the band at Radio One's One Big Weekend in Glasgow.

At the Hollywood Bowl concert, Martin's rumored girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence reportedly appeared at the venue to support him. "Jen was taking photos and videos of Chris during rehearsals on her phone," a source told JustJared.com. "They engaged playfully with each other, appearing like a couple in love. She kissed him on the lips several times."
