The actor said he had made himself available to appear on the long-running show but Chuck Lorre said there had been no discussion.

AceShowbiz - Charlie Sheen and "Two and a Half Men" are on the verge of making a new pact. The actor revealed that he had approached his former show's producers with an idea to appear on the show's finale as a treat to fans.

"I've reached out to them and they've reached back," Sheen told TV Guide Magazine. "We're trying to figure out what makes the most sense. If they figure it out like I've presented it to them and they want to include me in some final send-off, I'm available and I'm showing up early. If not, it's on them."

Sheen was on "Two and a Half Men" for eight seasons before his infamous exit in 2011. He and creator Chuck Lorre were at each other's throat with the actor suing Lorre for $100 million plus punitive damages. Sheen also called Lorre a "contaminated little maggot" in an open letter following the shut-down of "Two and a Half Men" production. His character was later killed off in season 9 and replaced by a new character played by Ashton Kutcher.

On whether they had patched things up, Sheen said, "Ethereally we have, personally we have not. But I'm easy to grab. He was doing his job, I was doing mine. At the end of the day, the guy's a genius. Look at what he does. I don't have to spend time with him anymore for him to be brilliant. I wish him nothing but the best."

This is not the first time that Sheen expressed an interest to return to the show but CBS had denied at that time any plan to bring him back. Nevertheless, this one is looking very bright according to Sheen's rep. "A balloon was floated so to speak," Jeff Ballard told E! Online. "Everyone kind of went, hmmm, that could be kind of interesting. And that is the state where it is."

Sheen's FX show "Anger Management" is nearing its 100-episode order. Ballard said, "We are waiting to hear if 'Anger Management' is going to get picked up for an additional 50 episodes. But either way he is making himself available to do 'Two and a Half Men'."

Lorre himself dodged the question on Sheen's return. "We haven't discussed that, really. We've been really focused on finding a storyline that puts Jon (Cryer) and Ashton front and center in a really interesting, provocative, hopefully fun story," he said.
