Liam Neeson Cast for Josh Whedon's Spec Script 'Suspension'
Movie

The 'Walk Among the Tombstones' actor will star in a 'Die-Hard'-esque movie about terrorist attack on the George Washington Bridge.

AceShowbiz - Liam Neeson lands a lead role in "Suspension", a long-delayed movie from a spec script by "The Avengers" helmer Josh Whedon. "I've just signed up to do a film called Suspension, hanging from a bridge in New York - the George Washington Bridge," the actor spilled to Empire.

No other details are available but the 62-year-old actor said he would not be doing all his own stunts. Noting that he gets "dizzy on a thick carpet," he explained, "It's not that I want to do a Tom Cruise thing. Tom loves all that stuff. I can't do that."

Whedon's unmade script was reportedly sold in 1993 for $1 million. It's a "Die Hard"-esque action thriller about terrorists attacking the George Washington Bridge, and it's up to an ex-con called Harry Monk to stop their evil plan.

Neeson is a busy man. After "A Million Ways to Die in the West", his new film "A Walk Among the Tombstones" has just hit theaters Stateside. He will next return for "Taken 3", is attached to "Tell No One (2015)" and writes a script with U2's Bono.
