AceShowbiz - AMC continues reminding fans of "The Walking Dead" return with new photos for the upcoming season 5. Rick, Daryl, Michonne, Carol, Glenn and Maggie are featured separately in cast photos that see light shining through in the darkness, hinting at a glimpse of hope for the group who is captured by the Terminants.
Three fresh stills from the new season have also landed online. One shows Tyreese and Sasha who look alert, another sees Daryl holding his crossbow ready to take aim, and the other shot gives a look at Rick standing while watching something through broken glass.
"The Walking Dead" season 5 premieres Sunday, October 12 at 9 P.M. ET on AMC. The first episode will pick up right where the fourth season finale left off. Series creator Robert Kirkman recently told Entertainment Weekly, "We very quickly deal with the situation that we left them in - this trapped, victim situation where they're kind of at the mercy of the people of Terminus."
Seth Gilliam ("The Wire") is cast as new character Father Gabriel Stokes, who was introduced in issue #61 in the comics.
