All seven seasons of the hit family drama series created by Amy Sherman-Palladino will be available on the streaming site on October 1.

AceShowbiz - TV lovers can now add "Gilmore Girls" to their list of shows to binge-watch. According to Decider, all 153 episodes from seven seasons of the Amy Sherman-Palladino-created family drama will be available to stream on Netflix starting October 1.

The show debuted on the WB in 2000 and ran for seven seasons until 2007. Starring Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel as single mother Lorelai Gilmore and her daughter Rory respectively, the drama comedy received critical acclaims although it was not a ratings success initially. The show gained more viewers in its second season when it moved from the tough Thursday 8 P.M. slot to Tuesday.

Executive producers Sherman-Palladino and her husband Daniel Palladino left the show in 2006 following a merge between UPN and the WB that resulted in new network The CW. They said in a statement at the time that they "were unable to reach an agreement with the studio and are therefore leaving when our contracts expire at the end of this season." David S. Rosenthal, who had worked on the show as a writer, replaced them in the seventh season.

Graham recently said she's up for a "Gilmore Girls" movie. "Yes, IF a movie version could be as good as we'd all want it to be, I'd love to play that character again," she said during a Reddit AMA.
