The British actor, who's set to play the legendary country star in upcoming biopic 'I Saw the Light', appears at Wheatland Music Festival and performs a cover of 'Move It on Over'.

AceShowbiz - Tom Hiddleston made a surprise appearance at a music festival in Michigan. The British actor, who is preparing himself for his role as Hank Williams in an upcoming biopic called "I Saw the Light", took the stage of Wheatland Music Festival over the weekend and excited the crowd with a cover of the legendary singer's "Move It on Over".

Thanks to a concertgoer who recorded the performance and later uploaded it to YouTube, fans who couldn't make it to the festival can now watch the villainous Loki of Marvel's "Thor" and "The Avengers" show off his singing skills while playing the guitar.

"I Saw the Light" is scheduled to start its production in October in Louisiana. Marc Abraham will direct the biopic adapted from Colin Escott's 1994 book called "Hank Williams: The Biography".

The film will center on Williams' triumphant rise to fame and its tragic effect on his personal life and health. Hiddleston will sing standards like "Your Cheatin' Heart", "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" and "Hey Good Lookin" in the movie expected to open in U.S. theaters next year.
