The trailer shows the on-screen chemistry between Franco as award-winning poet C.K. Williams and Kunis as his wife.
"Oz: The Great and Powerful" duo James Franco and Mila Kunis reunite playing a couple as seen in the trailer for drama "Tar". The "Spring Breakers" actor portrays Pulitzer Prize-winning American poet C.K. Williams and the "Ted" actress plays his wife Catherine.
The movie highlights the different parts of Williams' life told through his poems. It shows flashbacks of his childhood, teens, college years, to when he meets and marries his wife Catherine and the birth of his children and their parenthood.
The film is narrated by different versions of Williams to depict his different aspects through the years. Zachary Unger plays Williams' 7-year-old version, Jordan March takes on the poet's teenage self, and Henry Hopper portrays his college years.
Jessica Chastain, Zach Braff and Bruce Campbell join the cast in the supporting roles. The film was premiered at Rome Film Festival last year. No U.S. theatrical release date has been set.
