AceShowbiz - "The Walking Dead" has just added two new actors to its cast ensemble of season 4. Michael Cudlitz and Josh McDermitt are cast in the roles of Sgt. Abraham Ford and Dr. Eugene Porter respectively.

A pivotal character from Robert Kirkman's comic book series, Ford is a sports coach and former Army sergeant. First look at Cudlitz as Ford has been unveiled by the actor himself in a photo posted on Twitter.

Porter, meanwhile, is a former high school science teacher and Ford's traveling companion, who claims to know the source of the zombie outbreak, but is found out to be lying. Joining them on the road is Rosita, with Christian Serratos already on board to portray the character.

Showrunner Scott Gimple tells The Hollywood Reporter, "We're going to tell a version of the Eugene, Abraham and Rosita comic stories." He adds, "I love those characters from the book, they are very different flavors of comic book characters than we've seen on the show."

Gimple dishes on Porter's apperance to disguise the fact that he's a smart guy. "Josh looks breathtaking in a mullet; he was born to wear one," he says. "I can proudly announce we will see a mullet!"
