The 'Red' singer and the Canadian duo lead the crowd at Los Angeles' Staples Center to sing and dance to the hit single.
Taylor Swift keeps inviting interesting guests at her 4-night concert at Los Angeles' Staples Center. After welcoming Cher Lloyd and Sara Bareilles to the stage on the concert's day 1, now she brought out Canadian duo Tegan and Sara on day 2.
"I think this album is one of my favorites of all time," Swift told the crowd of Tegan and Sara's "Heartthrob" album when introducing the Canadian twins. She continued, "If you've ever had your heart broken, you need to have their album."
"I just want us to get closer," Swift said, hinting at the guests' single, "Closer". Tegan Quin and Sara Quin then stormed the stage and started belting out the hit, which they co-wrote with Greg Kurstin.
The crowd went wild as the trio sang and energetically danced to the upbeat song.
Swift later took to Twitter to rave about Tegan and Sara's performance. "So.... @teganandsara just came out and surprised the crowd with 'Closer' and made an entire sold out Staples crowd DANCE. Unreal!!!" she wrote.
