In the promo for the biopic, Keke Palmer, Drew Sidora and Lil' Mama recreate some of the R'n'B/hip-hop/pop group's music videos.
VH1 has unleashed the first teaser trailer for "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story". In it, fans can see Keke Palmer, Drew Sidora and Lil' Mama, as Rozonda Thomas (Chilli), Tionne Watkins (T-Boz) and the late Lisa Lopes (Left Eye) respectively, recreating moments from the group's heyday.
From doing interviews, performing on stages and making music videos, the cast members are all out to depict the R&B trio, wearing their iconic outfits on every occasion. One scene shows the girls yelling "MTB", which stands for "Meant to Be", before hitting the stage.
"CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" will debut in October. The cast also includes Evan Ross as Dallas Austin, Donny Boaz as TLC's manager Bill Diggins, Carl Anthony Payne II as L.A. Reid, and Rochelle Aytes as Perri 'Pebbles' Reid.
Hot on heels of the treaser premiere, remaining members of TLC, T-Boz and Chilli, announce that they will release a new album on October 15 under Epic Records/LaFace. Ne-Yo, Lady GaGa, Dallas Austin, Drake and J. Cole are going to contribute to the album.
