The drama comedy from director Stuart Blumberg also stars Gwyneth Paltrow and Pink, and is set for a September 20 wide release.
Lionsgate's upcoming movie "Thanks for Sharing" has just dropped its first trailer online, featuring Mark Ruffalo as a man whose mind is apparently too often occupied with sex. How bad his addiction can be is somehow teased in the video as he is introduced as one of some people who think about it 15 times an hour.
"Now You See Me" actor Ruffalo is not the only one dealing with the problem. In the movie, Josh Gad also happens to suffer from a sexual addiction. "I'm out of control," so the "jOBS" star describes himself after the trailer sees him getting caught filming up his female boss' skirt. In the end, there's only one question left: can they be finally cured?
"Thanks for Sharing" is a touching and unpredictable comedy that follows three sex addicts as they struggle to function in society while maintaining meaningful relationships. Along the way, Adam attempts to forge a relationship with Phoebe, a wildly independent and beautiful woman who has sworn off dating addicts after breaking up with an alcoholic.
Mike is married to his high school sweetheart, but becomes as addicted to his 12 step recovery program as he does to sex. Neil, on the other hand, hides a camera on his tennis shoe to secretly film up women's skirts - all while trying to convince his friends that he can live a life without sex.
Tim Robbins is tapped to play Mike, another sex addict featured in the Lionsgate film. Gwyneth Paltrow and Pink also come aboard for supporting roles.
Directed and co-written by Stuart Blumberg, "Thanks for Sharing" will be released on September 20 in the U.S.
