First Concept Art of 'Iron Man 3' Teases New Armor

First Concept Art of 'Iron Man 3' Teases New Armor
With no word from Marvel, the image self-explained that the armor suit is integrated in the third film, leaning towards the one found in 'Extremis'.

It looks like Iron Man's armor is evolving in the third movie. The official "The Avengers" Facebook account has posted a concept art poster of the superhero, that will be given away at the San Diego Comic-Con next week.

Neither Marvel, producers nor the artist Ryan Meinerding has given explanation about the poster. Tony Stark is seen with only partial armors while armed troopers surround him. The only possible explanation of the picture comes from the rumor that "Iron Man 3" will indeed pick up some plot points from "Extremis", by Warren Ellis and Adi Granov.

In the 2005-2006 comics series, Stark is injected with serum that allows his armor to live inside his body. The nanotechnology enables Stark to control the armor using his brain. As of the baddies, the comic suggests that Stark was hunted by domestic terrorist militia.

The movie's panel on Saturday, July 14 at the SDCC is expected to give lots of answers regarding the storyline and the villains.
