Jason Mraz celebrated the release of his new album "Love Is a Four Letter Word" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show". Appearing on an episode airing Tuesday, April 17, the Grammy-wining singer/songwriter strummed his guitar and catered audience with one of his new singles "The Woman I Love".
There will be a string of performances set for the "I'm Yours" hitmaker as he continues promoting the album. Next, he will sing at the 23rd Annual GLAAD Media Awards in Los Angeles on April 21. While the singer is tapped as a musical guest, Josh Hutcherson and Chaz Bono will be honored with Vanguard Award and tephen F. Kolzak Award respectively.
On top of that, Jason has mapped out a world tour starting with a two-night stand in South Korea before expanding to some other Asian countries. After completing the trek in the continent, he will travel across North America with Christina Perri as a special guest, and then will head to Europe to wrap up the entire roadshow.
"Four Letter Word" was released in the United States on April 17 as a follow-up to his 2008 critically-acclaimed CD "We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things". The avid supporter of LGBT community recorded it in between his journey of traveling the globe to help clean oil spill, fight child slavery and raise awareness for climate change among other good causes.
"Thanks to 'I'm Yours,' I'm probably set for a really long time," he said. "The pressure I put on myself, or what I hope my 'I Won't Give Up' does, is to make a difference in people's lives . . . With 'I'm Yours,' I got to go out and set my feet on different continents, and expose myself to different cultures and causes. I wanted to see who I was, outside of music."
