A first clip from upcoming horror film "The Cabin in the Woods" has come out. It features Kristen Connolly, Chris Hemsworth, Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz and Jesse Williams playing a truth or dare game. They, however, stop it even before it starts when there's a sudden loud bang.
The sound seems to come from the basement of the cabin where they are staying. Curious about what happens down there, Hutchison who plays Jules tells her friends, "Why don't we find out." Instead of proposing to check it out together, the blonde girl has another idea. "I dare you," she challenges Connolly's Dana Polk.
Produced and co-written by "The Avengers" helmer Joss Whedon, "The Cabin in the Woods" revolves around five college-type characters who head to a cabin in the woods for a vacation and are given clear and clever instructions by "white collar" characters. The plan is to lure the kids to break the given instructions so that they might be "punished."
Directed by Drew Goddard who has previously worked with Whedon on TV series "Angel" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", the movie is due to haunt theaters across the United States starting April 13.
