As M.I.A. delivers lyrics, 'Gonna sing my song tonight,' in the recording booth, Madge encourages her from the control room to 'do more freestyle.'
Madonna and M.I.A. have another collaboration in the works, aside from "Gimme All Your Luvin' " which features Nicki Minaj. In a newly-found footage, it's seen the Material Girl directing the "Born Free" hitmaker in recording a track called "Birthday Song".
"Na na na, na na na na na na na/ Gonna sing my song tonight," M.I.A. sings the lyrics over some catchy beat. While she's laying down her vocals in the recording booth, Madge's sitting behind the mixing table. "Do more freestyle," she advised the British musician at one point.
Madge and M.I.A. are expected to share stage along with Minaj when the "Hard Candy" hitmaker performs during the halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl XLVI in February 5, 2012. They reportedly will showcase "Gimme All Your Luvin' " from "M.D.N.A." album.
Most recently, there was report suggesting that Madge was slammed regarding the title of the album. Lucy Dawe from anti-drugs group, Cannabis Skunk Sense, criticized her for using a term similar to the class A drug, MDMA. The activist called it "an ill-advised decision."
