Listen to Studio Version of Pia Toscano's Debut Single 'This Time'

The studio version of the song written by Ester Dean and produced by Brian Kennedy has been made available a day before its iTunes release.


Pia Toscano, one of the finalists in the tenth season of "American Idol", gave the world premiere of her debut song "This Time" to "On Air with Ryan Seacrest" on Monday, July 11. The song, which is written by Rihanna's "S&M" songwriter, Ester Dean, will be available for download on Tuesday.

The song was actually previewed live by Pia at "American Idols Live!" Salt Lake City stop last Wednesday. She will continue to perform it as part of the summer tour including the next stop which is Los Angeles on Friday.

Pia is officially signed to Interscope Records, Red Light Management as well as 19 Entertainment. "I am thrilled to be joining the Interscope and 19 Recordings family. [Interscope Geffen A&M Chairman] Jimmy Iovine was an amazing mentor during my time on 'Idol' and I'm looking forward to working with him and everyone at Interscope Records and 19 Recordings. This is a dream come true!" she said.

Her debut album is due to be released later this year with three songs produced by Rodney Jerkins.
