The first trailer of "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011)" has been played in international market and, as expected, leaked Stateside. Tagged with Red Band tape, the trailer shows a tiny glimpse of Rooney Mara's Lisbeth Salander naked in bed and romping but nothing else which could be considered NSFW.
Columbia packed the trailer frame by frame in chronological order and ended it with the tag this year's "feel bad movie of Christmas". The studio also promoted the movie from the "international best-selling trilogy" instead of the best-selling books by Stieg Larsson.
David Fincher, the man behind "Se7en" and "Fight Club", is directing the movie adaptation which would be released December 21 in the United States. His skill in modern noir swells here, especially when combined with Trent Reznor's remix of Led Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" which has Karen O's vocals in it.
A green band trailer is set to debut in the States on June 2.
