"Led Zeppelin are over!" so Peter told MusicRadar. "If you didn't see them in 2007, you missed them. It's done. I can't be any clearer than that."
In further explanation, Peter has also busted rumor claiming that Led Zeppelin will have a semi-reunion with a new member. He says though Jimmy and John Paul Jones have indeed rehearsed with several new singers, they failed to find one that suited them.
Confirmed, Led Zeppelin to Tour Without Robert Plant

"We are trying out a couple of singers," he says. "We want to do it. It's sounding great and we want to get on and get out there."
Jones emphasizes that he, Jimmy Page, and Jason Bonham don't want a replica of Plant stating, "It's got to be right. There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band." Jones also reveals that "there would be a record and a tour. But everyone has to be on board."

And they're gonna, like, hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in, before having the lead singer of Alter Bridge out with John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page, and Jason Bonham." Numbers of rock legends, including Carlos Santana, members of the Grateful Dead, Led Zeppelin, and The Doors, have all filed a lawsuit Monday Dec 18th, against William Sagan, operator of the San Francisco-based Web site Wolfgang's Vault, accusing him of illegally selling vintage recordings and memorabilia.
In the suit, filed in U.S. District Court in San Francisco, those musicians claimed that Sagan bought the archives of rock promoter Bill Graham after his death in 1991, which include thousands of concert posters, shirts, photographs and recordings, which the artists never authorized for Sagan to distribute.

Zep's Page Made Rio de Janeiro Honorary Citizen
September 22, 2005 12:09:58Rock guitarist Jimmy Page, who also is the founder of the band Led Zeppelin, was awarded honorary citizenship in the state of Rio de Janeiro for his work with Brazil's poor and abandoned children. Page was honored for supporting "Casa Jimmy," a residential shelter set up in 1997 in the Rio district of Santa Teresa.
Presented with the honor at a ceremony on Tuesday at the House, Page commented "The greatest satisfaction is not the decoration. It is knowing that I am able to help someone who needs help." Run by the British charity Task Brasil, Casa Jimmy offers medical and psychological support for street kids and pregnant teenagers as well as food, clothing and help in job training. More than 300 children have benefited from it.
