Carrie Underwood's brand new song which is crafted for "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" has been dropped for digital download on iTunes. The song has slow beat which gives enough space for the "American Idol" singer to belt her high notes.
"There's a place out there for us/ More than just a prayer or anything we ever dreamed of/ So if you feel like giving up cause you don't fit in down here/ Fear is crashing in, close your eyes and take my hand," she sings. "We can be the kings and queens of anything if we believe/ It's written in the stars that shine above/ A world where you and I belong, where faith and love will keep us strong."
It was co-written by Underwood along with David Hodges and Hillary Lindsey. "David Hodges had a piano melody going and Carrie and I started adding lyrics to go along with it," Lindsey told Country Weekly. "For all of us, it was a feeling that we've all felt like we don't 'fit in' in some places and you have to believe in yourself and know that there's a place for all of us where we belong. I loved it when everybody broke into harmony in the room when we were writing. It made the song come alive."
"The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" will come out in theaters across U.S. on December 10. It follows another adventure of Lucy and Edmund along with their cousin Eustace. They will join Prince Caspian on the Dawn Treader ship on a mysterious mission to the Lone Islands. As they embark on an incredible adventure of destiny and discovery, they confront obstacles beyond imagination.
