Fresh from appearing at Comic Con, Amber Riley and her co-stars visited Music Box and Fonda Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard where music was played and questions were answered.
The cast of "Glee" showed their gratitude for fans' support by appearing at "Glee" Academy: An Evening of Music With the Cast of Glee. The Thursday, July 27 night event was attended by almost all of the lead stars like Cory Monteith, Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jayma Mays, and Amber Riley with the exception of Jane Lynch and Dianna Agron.
The evening was designed to treat fans with some performances from the first season and get them closer to the cast. There was a dance off between Morrison, Harry Shum Jr. and Kevin McHale, as well as a Q & A session for season 2. John Stamos' guest appearance was one of the topics discussed with Mays saying, "With a dentist like that you'd want to eat a lot of sugar".
Meanwhile, the cast also said that they are excited of the upcoming Emmy Awards. Michele, for one, has been preparing her red carpet move. "I had sort of been envisioning what I would want to look like on that night and I swear that I walked into my stylist's house and the dress what right there-the color, the feel," she told the press.
The second season of "Glee" airs September 21 on FOX. The show is nominated for 19 categories at the Primetime Emmy Awards which will be held on Sunday, August 29.
