Adam Levine talks about being in a misery for loving someone so badly in the lead single of 'Hands All Over'.

AceShowbiz - A fresh material titled "Misery" from Maroon 5 has been sent to radio stations and now can be found everywhere on the web. "I am in misery / There ain't nobody who can comfort me," frontman Adam Levine sings his heart out on the funky, catchy hook.

He previously told MTV that the song is about "the desperation of wanting someone really badly in your life but having it be very difficult." He added, "Kind of what all the songs I write are about. I'm not treading on new ground, but I think a lot of people - including myself - deal with that all the time. Relationships are difficult, and it's good therapy to write about them."

The track is released as the lead single of the band's forthcoming third studio album "Hands All Over" which is slated to arrive in the U.S. stores on September 21. The music video is directed by Joseph Kahn and was filmed in Los Angeles with Adam's girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna playing the leading lady.

"I thought it was really amazing," he commented on the treatment Joseph works for the clip. "Because it kind of turns the whole idea of the sexual energy between two people - a guy and a girl, a music video, you've seen that a million times - that exists in this video, but it's turning it on its a** and having the girl be the more domineering one who's trying to kill me. We decided to focus on violence instead of sex this time around."
