Eminem's music video in support of his new single "Not Afraid" has gotten an official premiere date. "For those 'patiently waiting', the NOT AFRAID video will premier Saturday 6/5," so the Slim Shady wrote on his Twitter.
The upcoming clip is directed by Rich Lee, the same man who who worked on Black Eyed Peas' "Imma Be" and "Rock That Body" as well as Jesse McCartney's "How Do You Sleep" and The Pussycat Dolls' "Hush Hush". Eminem and his entourage were snapped filming the video on the streets of Newark, New Jersey in early May.
"Not Afraid" is the lead single of Eminem's upcoming effort "Recovery" which is due June 22. It debuted atop Billboard Hot 100 and Digital Songs Chart, scoring the biggest sales week for a digital track this calendar year with 380,000 first-week digital download.
In the previously-revealed tracklisting, Eminem has lined up Kobe, Pink, Lil Wayne and Rihanna for featured guests on this upcoming summer release.
