A YouTube singing sensation Lin Yu Chun has gotten a record deal from giant label Sony Music Entertainment. "I still can't believe this is real," said Lin who shot to stardom after a video featuring him singing a rendition of Whitney Houston's classic ballad "I Will Always Love You" hit the web.

In addition to announcing the record deal, Sony also revealed in a press conference on Thursday, May 13 that they are preparing a debut album for the 24-year-old Taiwanese guy. The effort is planned to be released sometime this July. It is unclear whether or not it will include a cover version of Whitney's song, but the label confirmed the record will have Chinese and English songs.

Lin Yu Chun's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" which was originally performed by Dolly Parton has gained million views on YouTube. He also drew comparison to another singing sensation Susan Boyle who was also signed to Sony. Indeed, they have something in common as both of them are talent show graduates. Lin was an alum of Taiwan's "Avenue to Stardom", while Susan is a former contestant of "Britain's Got Talent".
