Preview of 'Law and Order: SVU' Season 11 Finale

Sharon Stone's character will play a major part in the season end, being the person with a secret and a hostage.

Sharon Stone is held at gunpoint in the season finale of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit". When an 8-year-old boy is kidnapped off a city street, Detectives Olivia Benson and Eliot Stabler are called to investigate.

They soon find that the boy is in his father's custody, and his mother has a history of overstepping her bounds. When pushed to the limit, the boy's mother pulls out a gun points it at ADA Jo Marlowe (Stone) and pulls the trigger.

As the case comes to a head, members of the SVU team find themselves in a life-threatening standoff and learn shocking details about Jo's past. The finale, titled "Shattered", airs May 19.

There is still no news from NBC regarding Fall pickup but some say a 12th season for "SVU" is undeniable because it is the most successful "Law & Order" franchise. The show generally wins its Wednesday time period in adults 18-49 and numerous other key demos.

Okay, if Marlowe gets shot I'm going to kill the writers... I don't give a damn about her! She's been on the show for such a short time that seriously, if she dies it really doesn't matter and will make the finale totally anticlimactic. I also really don't want Elliot to get shot... again. I'm sick of it. He's been shot, pushed off a building, knocked out numerous times, thrown out a window, and had his head bashed into a car window. Gee, what's ever happened to Olivia? NOTHING. AT ALL. IN ELEVEN FREAKING SEASONS.
