Ethan Hawke and Willem Dafoe have posed alongside directors Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig when attending the event, which was held on Thursday, January 7 at SVA Theater.

Just a day before it hits U.S. theaters, the cast and crew for "Daybreakers" have hit New York City for premiere. On Thursday night, January 7, red carpet has been rolled out in front of SVA Theater to welcome all the guests.

Ethan Hawke, who plays major character Edward Dalton, came to the event donning a formal gray outfit. He was later joined by his co-star Willem Dafoe, the depicter of Elvis, who opted to wear an all-black costume.

Also seen coming to the event were directors Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig. Before entering the building, the filmmakers and the two actors posed together for the cameras. Additionally, producer Chris Brown did not miss the premiere.

Also among the attendees that night were talk-show host Tina Brown and Miss USA Kristen Dalton. Then, professional Bull Riders Kody Lostroh and J.B. Mauney were seen hitting the red carpet of the special screening event.

Set in 2017 when a plague has transformed most every human into vampires, "Daybreakers" follows vampire researcher Edward Dalton who works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind. This action thriller hits theaters across the U.S. starting from January 8.
