Officially granted a permit to legally change her name into Heidi Samuel, the supermodel has not yet confirmed if she would use the name for work commitments.
It's official, Heidi Klum is now Heidi Samuel. The supermodel has her request to legally adopt her husband Seal's last name being approved by a Los Angeles court commissioner on Friday, November 20.
Notwithstanding the approval, Heidi is yet to make public announcement whether or not she intends to be known professionally as Heidi Samuel. Statement also hasn't been made by her people.
Heidi Klum filed legal papers earlier last month, seeking to adopt Seal's last name. In the documents she cited "marriage" as the reason for the name change.
The supermodel and the singer have been married since May 2005. They are parents to two sons; Henry Gunther Ademola Dashtu Samuel and Johan Riley Fyodor Taiwo Samuel, and one daughter Lou Sulola Samuel, who is still one month old. Beside the three children, Heidi also has another daughter, Helene "Leni" Klum, with then-lover Flavio Briatore.
