Seal to Release Hits Album December 8, Track Listing Revealed
November 10, 2009 07:11:00Grammy-winning vocalist and songwriter Seal will release a collection of his greatest songs on one CD, HITS, to be released December 8, 2009 on Warner Bros. Records. Fans can purchase a CD or CD/DVD package which includes the Seal 'Soul Live' dvd with nine amazing live performances from his worldwide hit album Soul.
Seal Hits will span the artist's 20 year career and be comprised of sixteen of Seal's biggest hit songs, along with two brand new tracks. These two new recordings, produced by David Foster, extend the concept of Seal's hugely successful 2008 covers album, Soul, which has sold more than three million units worldwide and received international critical acclaim. Seal brings his unique and exquisite vocal style to "I Am Your Man" written by Ashford & Simpson, first recorded by Bobby Taylor, and the Sly and The Family Stone classic "Thank You". Seal is currently in the studio recording a new album of original material to be released in 2010.
Heidi Klum Gives Birth to Baby Girl, Seal Confirms
October 13, 2009 11:10:30Another bundle of joy has been born for Heidi Klum and Seal. In a statement released to People the singer confirms that he and Klum have welcomed a baby girl last week. The infant joins brothers Henry Gunther and Johan Riley as well as sister Leni, who is Klum's daughter with ex-lover Flavio Briatore.
"It's difficult to imagine loving another child as much as you love your existing children," Seal writes to People. "Anyone who has a family will tell you this. Where will one find that extra love? If you love your existing children with all of your heart, how then can one possibly find more heart with which to love another?"
Heidi Klum Files Legal Papers to Adopt Seal's Last Name
October 06, 2009 04:10:24Though having been married to Seal, born Sealhenry Olusegun Olumide Samuel, since May 2005, it wasn't until Monday, October 5 that Heidi Klum filed legal papers to adopt his last name. According to an exclusive report by TMZ, the very pregnant supermodel filed the documents in L.A. County Superior Court.
Her request is yet to be made official. Another hearing for the matter is set for November 20 later this year. Neither Klum nor Seal has addressed the report though.
Heidi Klum and Seal Renew Their Wedding Vows in Retro Style

At the event held at a friend's beach house in Malibu, the supermodel wore a white wedding dress and had her hair being arranged in cornrows. As for Seal, he wore a mullet wig and an American flag jacket.
Adding heat to the affair, the preacher who presided the ceremony dressed like Elvis Presley. There were about 75 guests attending the ceremony, including the likes of Debra Messing and Matthew Perry, all of whom wore jeans shorts, leopard print and leather jackets.
Seal Confirms Sex of Upcoming Baby on TV Show

The forthcoming infant will be the couple's third child in addition to sons Henry Gunther and Johan Riley.
No words from the singer though if he and Heidi have chosen a name for their future baby daughter. The baby itself is expected to be born in fall.

Heidi, who was seen attending the show, offered no comment at all. She was spotted cheering on her husband from the sixth row of the hall. She was joined by her sons, Henry Gunter and Johan Riley. Daughter Leni, whom she has with ex-lover Flavio Briatore, was also in attendance, US Weekly has reported.
will.i.am's New Barack Obama-Inspired Track 'America's Song' Premiered
January 20, 2009 08:01:48will.i.am has debuted his latest Barack Obama-inspired single "America's Song" on January 19. Premiering it on "The Oprah Winfrey Show", he collaborated with Seal, Bono, Mary J. Blige and Faith Hill for the live appearance.
"America's Song" is a track crafted by the Black Eyed Peas' member teaming up with composer David Foster. It contains lyrics narrating, "America is beautiful/ My America, your America, our America is beautiful." It is available for free download on Oprah.com until Tuesday, January 20 at 5 P.M. ET.

Apparently the tracklisting of Seal's new album 'System' that was previously announced contains a duet with his wife Heidi Klum. 'Wedding Day', the fifth track in the CD that is due November 13 is inspired by the couple's love ride.
Previously only a rumor, the duet was confirmed to People by a rep of Seal that "Heidi does sing on one song on Seal's new album System." The song 'Wedding Day' was written by Seal in the morning he wed his supermodel wife in Mexico back in May 2005.

Seal's new album 'System' has begun taking shape as he announced the official release date. The singer's first album in four years will not arrive in October as many have reported but on November 20 through Warner Bros Records.
For this album Seal has changed direction slightly to more up tempo beats to eliminate the perspective that he's known for ballads only. "Over the years I've somehow become more known for my ballads which I also love doing but dance music has always been close to my heart," he said earlier this year.

As a try out plus a warming up for his newest album, Seal will preview the material in a short US tour. Scheduled for second half of May, the trek will begin May 15 in Westbury, NY and end May 30 in Dallas, TX.
Seal has neither come up with the album's name that follows 2003's "Seal IV" nor did he set the release date. He did though, keeps his fans posted with the recording progress on his official website. "I am having a really good time making this record," he wrote. "There is an excitement in the studio a bit like the first record I made only this time with a lot more peacefulness."
