Totally different from Jon Gosselin according to his boss, Eric Hayes is a father of 10 whose priority is his family.
TLC has assigned "Table for 12" to replace "Jon & Kate Plus 8" on Mondays. The show is about the Hayes family which consists of parents Eric and Betty, two set of twins, and a sextuplets. It has been aired on TLC since March this year, taking the Tuesdays slot but it will start a new schedule starting next month.
Eric Hayes is a policeman while his wife Betty is a stay-at-home mom who takes care of their 10 children. The couple who resides in Central New Jersey has three sets of multiples via fertility treatments, 12-year-old twin boys Kevin and Kyle, 10-year-old twins Kieran and Meghan, and 4-year-old sextuplets Tara, Rachel, Ryan, Connor, EJ and Rebecca. The latest has cerebral palsy.
On how this show would be different from "Plus 8", Radar Online obtained a testimony from Eric's boss Bart Lombardo who said that Eric is none like Jon Gosselin. "There is no way Eric Hayes will behave like that - he is one of the best officers we have," Bart gushed. "Eric is a 'squared-away' type of guy who is focused on his career and his family which has always been his number one priority."
It is still unclear when the transition will begin but "Jon & Kate Plus 8" is slated to end on November 23 meaning "Table for 12" could start on November 30.
"Jon & Kate Plus 8" comes to an end as Jon and Kate Gosselin decide to end their marriage. Jon has prevented the crew from filming his eight kids while on the other hand Kate insists on having the show to go on. TLC has signed a new deal with Kate to have her solo show called "Kate Plus Eight" but production is not yet kicked off because Jon has not given his consent.
