Movie

Denying report which said that the 'Transformers' actress would don the catsuit in next 'Batman' film, a representative for Warner Brothers stated the news is 'not true.'

AceShowbiz - Megan Fox has not been taped to portray Catwoman. Contrary to previous report which mentioned that the "Transformers" beauty has signed on to be the next depicter of the female fatale in upcoming "Batman" film, a representative for Warner Brothers told People, "It's rumor. It's not true." The representative then added, "There is no script. There is no project to be cast in."

Rumor that Fox would play Catwoman in "Batman 3" was initially reported by The Sun. The British tabloid claimed the actress would slip into the leather catsuit, following the footsteps of Michelle Pfeiffer, who played the character in "Batman Returns", and Halle Berry, who portrayed the same role in 2004's film "Catwoman".

On the same day Megan Fox was reported to star as Catwoman, "Batman 3", the possible follow-up to "The Dark Knight", is rumored to be filmed using IMAX cameras. "The THIRD chapter of Christopher Nolan's Caped Crusader's saga could very well be FULLY shot in IMAX," Ain't It Cool News claimed, before adding "not IMAX Digital - but the beautiful, stunning IMAX that we saw pieces of THE DARK KNIGHT in."

Rumors about the possible "Batman 3" have been circulating around since "The Dark Knight" blew up in the box office and collected awards. Though so, nothing has been set in stone for the follow-up film. The director of "Batman Begins" and the sequel, Chris Nolan, has been reported to return to the helming position but it has not been confirmed yet.

As for Megan Fox, she has just completed the production for "Jennifer's Body", a film which centers on a cheerleader who is possessed by demon and begins to eat boys in her town. The 23-year-old star is currently shooting "Jonah Hex", in which she portrays the love interest of the title character. She is also attached to play lead role Aspen Matthews in "Fathom".
