Access Hollywood has got a hold on the first trailer for "My One and Only". Providing a sneak peek at Renee Zellweger's portrayal of the glamorous Anne Deveraux, the promotional video features Anne ditching her husband who is caught red-handed cheating on her despite her son's disapproval.
Taking the set of 1950s America, the trailer chronicles Anne's attempt to find a wealthy man to fund a new life for her and her sons. On an extended road trip to track down her former boyfriends from Boston to St. Louis, she accompanied by her two sons drives down the Eastern seaboard. Despite the troubles she experiences during the journey, she discovers who the only person she really needs is.
Said to be loosely based on a true story of actor George Hamilton's early years as he told to Merv Griffin, "My One and Only" is directed by Emmy-winning director Richard Loncraine. In addition to Renee Zellweger, the movie stars among others Logan Lerman, Mark Rendall, Chris Noth, Nick Stahl and Kevin Bacon. It is set to have its limited U.S. release on August 21.
