Mariah Carey may shoot down someone on her new single titled "Obsessed". Breaking the news to the media is one of the song's producers, The-Dream, during an interview with HipHopDX.
"The most anticipated is the Mariah project, and she just released a fire record in the building today," The-Dream tells the publication. "And we have been blasting it out all day. It's just fucking retarded. I don't think anybody is going to expect her to come out punching like she is going to come out. But she got a record."
"It's going to light the blogs up too because you don't know who she talking about, what she talking about, but she talking about something," the singer/producer continues explaining. "And remember The-Dream told you first. So you can start that up right now. Mariah Carey has a record, and somebody's going to be very upset. I said that."
While The-Dream has given no clue on who Mariah Carey will mock, rumor suggests that the target of the mockery could be Eminem who previously dissed her on a track called "Bagpipes From Baghdad". However, fans have to wait until the song is outed on June 16 to find out whether the speculation is true or not.
"Obsessed" is confirmed to be listed among new tracks in Mariah Carey's next installment "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel" which is due to arrive in September. Beside being produced by The-Dream, it is also worked on by Christopher "Tricky" Stewart.
