Amerie has released three studio albums before she was signed to Def Jam. In 2002, she released "All I Have" which climbed to number 9 on Billboard Hot 200. Three years later, she returned with another effort "Touch" which peaked at number 5 on the U.S. albums chart. And in 2007, she came out with "Because I Love It".
