Saving Abel premiere a NASCAR-themed music video for single 'Drowning (Face Down)' with NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Jeremy Mayfield playing the lead character.
As an effort to promote their single called "Drowning (Face Down)", rock band Saving Abel debut a NASCAR-themed music video for the song. Filmed in Mooresville, North Carolina, the video stars NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver Jeremy Mayfield as an aspiring racer who unfortunately has no sponsor or endorsement deals, but pushes forward in pursuit of his dream.
"We had a blast shooting the 'Drowning (Face Down)' video with Jeremy Mayfield and the other NASCAR drivers as we're all big NASCAR fans," said Saving Abel's frontman Jared Weeks during an occasion. "We especially love how Jeremy's real life story mirrors the character he plays in the video."
Jeremy himself also shared the same excitement regarding his involvement in the video. "It was awesome and I can't wait until it comes out. Just being a part of that was just cool for me. Those guys are great guys and I'm glad to see them coming up. I didn't really know them that well until we did the video and they have a lot of fun. It's funny how our story kind of fit their song and worked perfect for their video," so he noted.
"Drowning (Face Down)" is one of the materials appearing in Saving Abel's self-titled debut album "Saving Abel". The song recently sat at number 15 on Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks chart.
