In the new sneak peek of 'It's Alright, It's OK' music video, Ashley Tisdale says that the song is inspired by her personal experience of being cheated by someone in the past.
Another sneak peek into Ashley Tisdale's forthcoming music video for her single "It's Alright, It's OK" has been unveiled. Brought out by Entertainment Tonight, it shows similar footage of previously-posted sneak peek. While the previous preview shows Ashley's performance without giving a clue where she sings, this new one captures her rocking out a party in a swimming pool with a bunch of friends.
"The entire concept is obviously my boyfriend cheats on me," Ashley says in the video. "So for revenge, I come back to his house and let a lot of people in, taking pictures with them ... with all these hot guys. The bridge part is me rocking out in the pool, it's a big powerful anthem song. .. It's about 'It's Alright, It's OK', I don't need you in my life."
"He comes home with the girl he was cheating on me with and he sees his place is a mess and all these pictures with these guys. It's pretty cool, really fun, it's something I could have probably done if I'm in that position."
Ashley then switches the topic of the conversation, from talking about the video to discussing the song itself, telling fans that it indeed is inspired by her own personal experience. She states, "It's very empowering for woman just because whatever the guy does, it's alright, it's ok. You need to move on ... yes, it definitely comes from a personal experience in the past. It has been a long time but yes, I had been cheated on."
"It's Alright, It's OK" is the first single taken from Ashley Tisdale's forthcoming sophomore set "Guilty Pleasure", due to come out in U.S. on June 16. Its music video, which will be debuted on April 21, will feature a cameo from "90210" actor Adam Gregory as her cheating boyfriend.
