While it supposed to officially debut Wednesday, March 25, morning, the full-length trailer of "Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs" has come out earlier than expected via Trailer Addict. More than two minutes long, the brand new trailer gives out a real sneak peek of the forthcoming comedy animation movie, presenting Manny, Sid and Diego in their newest adventures.
Unlike the previous teasers which focus only on Saber-toothed squirrel Scrat and his fight to get his hand on an acorn, this trailer begins with a footage showing that a dinosaur has come to the frozen Ice Age world and takes away Sid. Displaying that Sid is in big trouble this time, the trailer moves on exhibiting that Manny, Ellie and Diego go to an underground world in order to help the sloth and discover a tropical jungle where they encounter more dinosaurs.
The official trailer was actually planned to be premiered live on "TODAY" from The Rink at Rockefeller Center. Denis Leary and John Leguizamo, who filled the voice of Diego and Sid respectively, will have the honor to debut the sneak peek. During the presentation, it is said that ice sculptures of Diego and Sid and the beloved Scrat will be carved live by acclaimed performance ice artists Fear No Ice.
"Ice Age: Dawn of Dinosaurs" is the third installment of the Academy Award-nominated computer-animated film "Ice Age". The film directed by Carlos Saldanha will once again hear the voices of Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary as the three unlikely friends, Manfred, Sid and Diego respectively. Set for July 1 release in the U.S., it also features Queen Latifah and Seann William Scott as the voice talents.
