Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal Reportedly Engaged, Working on a Wedding

Movie beauty Reese Witherspoon has finally accepted boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal's proposal after previously turning down his proposal twice, Star Magazine claims in a report on its site. Rumor has it, the pair has been working on a wedding plan though she isn't ready yet to make her engagement to the actor public.

Adding fuel to the not-yet-confirmed engagement report, Star claims Reese was seen wearing a ring on her engagement finger as she arrived at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif., to shoot an Avon commercial recently. "It was gorgeous, and everyone noticed it right away," an onlooker tells the publication.

However, the onlooker says further, the actress "took it off as soon as she saw people staring. Reese stuffed it in her bag and didn't put it on again the rest of the day." Speaking of the ring, the onlooker reveals, "There was already word out that she and Jake had gotten engaged, so the ring absolutely confirmed everybody's suspicions."

On the celebrity lovers' reported wedding plan, Star Magazine reports Reese opts to have an intimate and simple affair. She, as said by an insider, is even thinking about having a Southern barbecue which most likely will be held at her and Jake's Ojai, Calif., home. "Jake and Reese want to get married sooner rather than later," the insider says. "They've been playing house for far too long, and they're ready to make it official!"

Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have been dating since March 2007. Most recently, they were photographed spending time together in Europe promoting her latest animated flick, "Monsters vs. Aliens", which will hit the U.S. big screen next Friday, March 27.
