During Grammys' live show on February 8, Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker promised fans that Blink-182 will reunite.

AceShowbiz - Blink-182 are set to reunite after breaking up in 2005. Confirming the news was the band's former members themselves; Mark Hoppus, Tom DeLonge and Travis Barker, during the gala ceremony of the 51st annual Grammy Awards on February 8.

Taking the stage of STAPLES Center just after Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder's duet performance, Hoppus jokingly said, "Isn't it great to see the Jonas Brothers and Stevie Wonder back together again?" Barker then added, "We used to play music together, and we decided we're going to play music together again."

In line with their statement at this year's Grammy Awards, Blink-182 also posted a message on their MySpace, insisting that they are preparing to enter studio for new album. A day after Grammys, they wrote, "This past week there've been a lot of questions about the current status of the band, and we wanted you to hear it straight from us. To put it simply, We're back. ... In the studio writing and recording a new album. Preparing to tour the world yet again. Friendships reformed. 17 years deep in our legacy."

Post-leaving Blink-182 in 2005, guitarist/vocalist Tom DeLonge formed a new band Angels & Airwaves. Meanwhile, bass guitarist/vocalist Mark Hoppus and drummer Travis Barker teamed up, creating another new band +44.
