Deemed no ordinary cooking competition, 'The Chopping Block' is taking business to the most competitive and hungriest city in America.

AceShowbiz - NBC gave a sneak peek to their new reality cooking show during the Super Bowl XLIII breaks. "The Chopping Block" is the latest TV show about cooking that offers more than chopping and presents the "world's greatest chef", Marco Pierre White (U.K.'s "Hell's Kitchen") as host.

"Before you kill something, think about it. Kill something for the right reasons. Kill it to eat it," Marco said in the commercial. Each week, eight teams will be split into two restaurants in the middle of Manhattan and compete against each other as well as thousands others in winning customers' favor.

Food critics are assigned to observe the chaos of the kitchen and White will provide his reviews. The team performing worst will plead the case in a trial where a couple will be sent home. "They do not know how hard it's gonna be," Marco said in the end of the ad.

The show is competing for 250,000 dollars and a shot at running their own restaurant. It will premiere on NBC March 11.
