A new report has just surfaced, claiming Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis will make their union official at a private wedding ceremony to be held in April. According to MyPARK magazine, the longtime partners will wed "in a chapel on the grounds of their $1.25 million French estate."
Opting for an intimate wedding ceremony, Depp and Paradis reportedly limit their guests list to only 50 of their closest friends and family. "They're a very private couple. It's no surprise they'd want to celebrate at their home," a source tells MyPARK when mentioning one possible reason on why the celebrity couple doesn't want their wedding being exposed.
The Rolling Stones' rocker Keith Richards is one among those who are expected to be invited. "Keith and Johnny are good pals. Johnny's portrayal of Jack Sparrow in 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' was partly inspired by the old rocker, and Keith had a cameo in the second sequel," MyPARK quotes an insider as saying.
Furthermore, it is also claimed that Depp will have movie director Tim Burton serving as best man. Despite those details, neither Depp nor Paradis has issued a single word regarding their reported wedding plans.
Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have been cohabiting since 1998. They are parents to two children; son John "Jack" Christopher Depp III and daughter Lily-Rose Melody Depp. After a number of false marriage reports, Depp fueled another wedding speculation yet again after he was spotted shopping for engagement rings for Paradis at a high-end Southern California jewelry store in early December 2008.

Aw..I'm glad he's happy, but..still. I hope he'll still do movies after, I would be sad if he didn't. At least half the planet will be crying when we find out Johnny is dead. :`(

johnny is depplicious and he`s been living with his vanessa many years and he is just like the great wines: he becomes better with years and i think he is a very happy man because he reflects so in his work and personality, i think it is because he is really in love i hope god bless them both and their children. they have a wonderful dad!

my deceased husband rob was alot like johnny. very laid back,very loving& kind,we were married 9 1/2 year's when at age 47 cancer took him from me. i will never marry again, because guy's like him & johnny are far & few between. i know exactly how happy vanessa must feel at this time. i wish them both a long&healthy life together.xoxo

well, maybe I am not very nice but I am bummed sad and feeling bad. even though of course I want them to be happy i can't help it which is totally stupid becuz it's unlikely i'd know them ever or anything like that. it's not like he can marry his fans. but still, it saddens me. maybe like a rite of passage it signifies the end of his boyhood and this other him, this grown man is harder for me to get used to. i wish i could have met him around the time he did the brave. if only.

Exactly. Why is it always about his "pending" marriage. What about his new movie? And if and when they do get married? Well I predict that the media will then have them spliting up and divorcing. Child Custody battles, etc. Trash sells unfortunately.
Well said EmilyDiane. More should be said on his career. His life with Vanessa is private. I don't know why everyone makes a big deal. When and if Johnny and Vanessa get married they should be left alone to enjoy it. If they want people to know that is for them to decide. As they have said before they are already married in their hearts. Whatever Johnny and Vanessa decided to do God Bless them with a long life together.
Did anyone bother to tell Johnny and Vanessa about these plans? Last year you even had them sending out invitations and his Mother making the arrangements. I have a feeling if they get married there isn't going to be any pre-announcement unless it comes from JD and Vanessa themselves. And I won't believe it unless it does. If they are getting married God Bless them they are perfect for each other and have proven he's her Prince and she is his Princess. Why is this subject the only one Johnny can get any press on anyway?
