Prior to her scheduled performance at this year's MusiCares Person of the Year gala, Jennifer Hudson will reportedly head up to Tampa, Florida for another live appearance at Super Bowl XLIII. She is said to be singing the American national anthem on February 1 at the show.
In regard of the news, a source tells E! Online that Hudson "certainly can nail it." The source then explains to the publication, "She proved it at the Democratic National Convention."
In related news, Lil Wayne and Wyclef Jean have also been hired to help ESPN kicking off Super Bowl "Big Weekend" event. While Jean will be rocking ESPN The Magazine's NEXT party on January 30 at 9 P.M. with DJ Samantha Ronson, Wayne is going to present live reports from the event's red carpet.
