Saying goodbye to William Petersen and welcoming Laurence Fishburne, 'CSI: Crime Scene Investigation' ups the ante with a cameo by Taylor Swift.
It has just been announced that country star Taylor Swift will do some ratings boost up for "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation". Swift who also stars in the upcoming "Hannah Montana: The Movie" will visit the show to do a cameo in an episode which air date is not yet revealed.
According to the press release, she will play Haley Jones, "a teenage girl whose family manages a seedy Las Vegas motel". The synopsis is read, "Over the course of a year, Haley goes through a series of changes that have tragic consequences." Executive producer Naren Shankar told TV Guide that the episode will start in the present and then revisit the last year, season by season.
Additionally, executive director Carol Mendelsohn said there is a possibility that Gil Grissom who had his last episode on CSI aired earlier this month, will make a cameo in the 200th episode directed by William Friedkin. "Grissom will come back in an organic way, to visit or be on a case with the people that are his family," she said.
