A clue to when "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" theatrical preview is going to be released has been sparred. In the latest news related to the "X-Men" spin-off, XmenFilms.net reported that the 20th Century Fox is planning to release the action fantasy film's first trailer on December 12 before "The Day the Earth Stood Still".
Of the matter, XmenFilms.net quotes a statement from the studio, "We are shooting for 12/12 on DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL now..." On the particular December date, "Earth Stood Still" will have its simultaneous debut in conventional theaters and IMAX in the U.S. Still, confirmation words from Fox have yet to be offered.
A prequel to the "X-Men" trilogy, "Wolverine" is focused on chronicling the early life of the titular character and his participation on the Weapon X program. Developed under the direction of "Rendition" helmer Gavin Hood, it is toplined by Hugh Jackman and sees Sabretooth and Deadpool coming to life through Liev Schreiber and Ryan Reynolds respectively. It will be opened in the U.S. on May 1, 2009.
