Jay Manuel: 'Operation Fabulous' Is Not 'Top Model' Spin-Off

Additionally, Jay Manuel and J. Alexander are still in further episodes of 'America's Next Top Model' series.

Jay Manuel has given a strong statement dealing with his new pilot with J. Alexander, "Operation Fabulous", declaring that it is not a spin-off. His announcement stated that the new series is not a spin-off of "America's Next Top Model", not a straight-up makeover show, and the original series is still in place.

As reported previously, "Model"'s personalities, Jay and J. Alexander, will collaborate on the new pilot of "Operation Fabulous" which will be aired on The CW, the same TV network of the original series. "It is definitely not a spin-off. I can definitely say that. This is a new series that is a separate world from "Model" and will really help women try to elevate their lives," Jay said.

In the occasion, Jay also insists that he and his partner, J, are still on "Model" series by stating, "A lot of people are wondering if this means J and I are leaving "Model". And no way. That is not true. We would never leave the original show."

"Operation Fabulous" is a new series of makeover competition that features five women from one town who get makeovers and compete with each other, but only one who will be the winner from that town. Then the winners from each town will go on to compete in a bigger competition, which finally results in only one winner who will get their hometown a makeover.

Meanwhile, "Model" already has contract for three more seasons. The reality TV show is one of The CW's highest-rated series, airing in more than 120 countries around the globe.
